All students are expected to read an average of at least 30 minutes Monday through Thursday (that's 120 minutes a week). If it works better for your family that your child reads 20 minutes 6 days a week or an hour on Monday and an hour on Wednesday, that's perfectly fine. The important thing is that your child is reading.
